Kenyans once again showed unity to help the aiding Veteran rapper, Colonel Mustapha. In a period of less than 48 hrs, they have managed to contribute over ksh 600,000.
Mustapha was seen in a viral video working in a construction site.The clip attracted much attention from different media sources bringing questions.

In an interview with YouTuber Mungai Eve, Mustapha , said that he has been working in the ‘Mjengo’ sector for long without revealing his identity. That was due to the celebrity status he possessed at the place.
Kenyans fundraising for Colonel Mustapha.
After the interview, the rapper revealed that he needed financial assistance from well-wishers. In which Kenyans acted quickly to come to the help.
Through social media handle, of Fadhil Fhauz, they have managed to raise over 600,000 and counting. That’s within 48 hours after the interview.
Reason for working in a construction site ‘Mjengo’
According to the musician, he was working to help raise money for his sick mother, whom was suffering from cancer.
Mustapha has released several hit songs. which according to him, he has never received anything in return despite investing highly.
