Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that William Saliba will once again be sidelined for the upcoming match against Brighton & Hove Albion due to his back injury.
Arsenal to miss Zinchenko
Oleksandr Zinchenko’s availability is also uncertain after he was substituted during the second half of their previous game against Newcastle United.
Arteta emphasized the importance of having a deep squad and being prepared to deal with injuries and other setbacks in order to succeed in competitions.
He said, “To win a championship or a big tournament, you’re going to need all your players and have the capacity to deal with injuries, bad decisions and personal problems. The squad has to have the capacity and quality to absorb and overcome those situations and they are coming, unfortunately.”

Arsenal difficult in selection
Arteta also noted that it can be difficult to select the starting lineup and allocate minutes to players, but that he always has the team’s best interests in mind.
