Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is reportedly demanding a staggering £88 million for their star striker, Harry Kane, who is being pursued by several top European clubs this summer.

Recent reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has joined Manchester United in the race for Kane’s signature.

According to sources close to the French club, Kane has been identified as the ideal player to help PSG finally secure the elusive UEFA Champions League trophy. The club’s hierarchy is reportedly determined to succeed in this summer’s recruitment drive after a lacklustre transfer window in 2022.

Harry Kane now priority

A report from French publication Le Parisien suggests that Kane is the priority target for PSG, as the club looks to bolster their attacking options to complement Kylian Mbappe. With Kane’s proven track record in the English Premier League and his impressive goal-scoring abilities, he is seen as a valuable addition to the Parisian side.

Tottenham Hotspur, however, is reportedly holding out for a substantial transfer fee, with the club hoping to recoup the highest possible amount for their prized asset. Kane has been a talismanic figure for Spurs for several years, and his departure would be a significant loss for the North London side.

Intense competition for Kane

The 28-year-old English striker has been a target for Manchester United for some time now, and the Red Devils have reportedly already made contact with Spurs over a potential transfer. However, with PSG now joining the race, the competition for Kane’s signature is set to be intense.

It remains to be seen where Kane will end up this summer, but one thing is for sure: with several top clubs vying for his services, his transfer fee is likely to be one of the highest in football history.
