Top radio host leaves Radio Africa to join Radio 47 was recently launched.
Radio 47 has poached another top talent from rival Radio. The recently launched station has signed big names who will be heard on Radio 47 airwaves soon.
The standard Media Group is one of the most affected stations, having lost several of its top presenters to Radio 47.

Best stars such as Hassan Mwana Wa Ali, Billy Miya, Mbaruk Mwalimu, news anchor Beatrice Maganga, Emmanuel Mwashumbe, and Linda Oriaso are among those who have joined radio 47 from the Standard Media Group.
Radio Jambo was among the other stations affected by Radio 47’s poaching. Fred Arocho, the station’s top presenter, left Radio Africa. The veteran sports commentator, known for his distinct ‘Laduumaaaaa’ style, has been with the station for over a decade.
Fred Arocho was also a football player in the past. He has played for clubs such as KCB and the Harambee Stars youth team.

Arocho will co-host the sports show “Mikiki ya spoti” on Radio 47 with Hassan kauleni and Lucky Heriano. He’ll make his long-awaited debut on Saturday, April 1st, from 3-7 PM.
