The ongoing Council of Governors conference, discussed several important matters relating to the progress of County Aggregation and Industrial Parks, Universal HealthCare, Medical Equipment, and revenue raising.

Governors committed

The County Aggregation and Industrial Parks program, aimed at promoting economic growth and development by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, was a major point of discussion. The Governors discussed progress made so far and the challenges they had encountered in setting up these industrial parks in their respective counties.
The meeting also delved into the topic of Universal HealthCare, with the Governors sharing updates on the implementation of the program in their counties. The provision of quality and affordable healthcare services to Kenyans remains a top priority for the Governors, and they emphasized the need for continued support from the national government to ensure its successful implementation.
The Governors also discussed the status of medical equipment in their respective counties, with some highlighting the need for additional equipment to address the growing demand for healthcare services.
