Barcelona’s young talent Gavi has attracted the attention of top European clubs, with Chelsea and Bayern Munich reportedly interested in securing his services.
AS and Sport have both reported on the interest in the 18-year-old forward, who has been caught up in Barca’s ongoing financial issues.
According to AS, Chelsea is looking to take advantage of Barca’s inability to register Gavi’s long-term contract with LaLiga, and are willing to offer him the highest salary in the Premier League. The two parties met recently, and Chelsea hopes to arrange another meeting to persuade Gavi and his representatives of their long-term vision.
Meanwhile, Sport reports that Bayern Munich has expressed interest in Gavi, and have informed his agent that they could make a significant offer if Barca is unable to resolve the contract issue.
