Montpellier forward Elye Wahi is on Arsenal’s list of transfer targets, according Jeunes Footeux.
Arsenal reportedly face competition from two other Premier League sides for the 20 year-old’s signature.
Elye Wahi is a French footballer who currently plays as a forward for Montpellier in Ligue 1. He was born on December 24, 2002, in the city of Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Wahi began his youth career at local club US Palermo in France before joining Montpellier in 2018. He made his first-team debut for Montpellier on April 10, 2021, in a Ligue 1 match against FC Metz. Since then, he has made a total of nine appearances for the club, scoring one goal.
Wahi is highly regarded for his pace, dribbling ability, and finishing skills. He is considered one of the most promising young talents in French football and has attracted interest from several top European clubs.
If Arsenal were to sign Wahi, he would join a young and exciting forward line that already includes the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Emile Smith Rowe. However, competition for his signature is reportedly fierce, with two other Premier League sides also interested in signing him
