Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is being considered as a potential candidate for the vacant head coach position at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Premier League club is currently on the lookout for a new manager following the departure of Antonio Conte, and has reportedly shortlisted a number of high-profile names.

Zinedine Zidane one of greatest

Zidane is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, having won numerous titles during his playing career with teams such as Juventus and Real Madrid.

He later went on to become a successful manager, leading Real Madrid to three consecutive Champions League titles between 2016 and 2018, as well as winning two La Liga titles and two FIFA Club World Cups.

After leaving Real Madrid in 2018, Zidane took a brief hiatus from management before returning to the club in 2019. However, he resigned from his position as manager in May 2021, citing the need for “a change for the good of everyone”.

Zenedine Zidane success in one club

Despite his success at Real Madrid, Zidane’s managerial experience has been limited to just one club, which may be a concern for Tottenham Hotspur as they search for a new manager. Nonetheless, his track record of success and his reputation as one of the greatest footballers of all time could make him an attractive prospect for the Premier League club.
