Football transfers often happens when major leagues are on break and during mid-league season. During this year season league, the window was open from January 1st to 31st Midnight as is the norm.
With major transfers happening among English Premier Leagues Teams, this window has seen the highest record buying from Benfica.
So with that window closing yesterday, 31st, which transfers attracted football fans attention?

Some of the EPL transfers at the end of the window includes;
- Enzo Fernandez
Enzo Fernandez is the youngest footballer from Benfica to join Chelsea by the close of the window. He Join Chelsea as mid-fielder to replace Jorginho who join Arsenal in the latest transfers.
Enzo Fernandez has signed eight-and a-half year deal with Chelsea. The contract has seen Chelsea Paying £108 Million. Agreed to be paid in installments. This is the highest record transfers in EPL history.
His signing brings Chelsea’s January transfer fee to £323 Millions.
Fernandez who is 22 years have shown a magnificent foot ball skills during his first contract with Benfica.
His contract on Stamford Bridge will elapse on 2031.
2. Jorginho
Jorginho has been Chelsea’s mid-filder and he was on his final six month Contract with Chelsea.
He has signed 18-month contract with club with possibility of extension. Arsenal has parted with £12 million for his signing. Jorginho signing is important for Arsenal as their Mid-field player ,Mohamed Elneny how has an knee injury, which will see him out of the season.
Jorginho has great experience in Champions league and Europe Champions league. His vast premier league experience will be valuable to Arsenal who are pushing hard for EPL title this season.
Under Mikel Arteta, in 2020, Arsenal wanted to signed Jorginho who rejected the offer and joined Chelsea during that transfer season.
When Mikel was assistant coach in Manchester City,2018 , he tried to signed him unsuccessfully.
3. Marcel Sabitzer
In late dateline date, Manchester United signed Marcel Sabitzer from Bayern Munich. He is on loan for the rest of the season.
His signing comes after Christian Eriksen rule out of the season due to ankle injury. So he will be replacing Eriksen in the pitch.
Sabitzer has been Bayern’s mid-fielder. However, he can play defense, mid-field and striking as well.
He join Bayern Munich from RP Leipzig.
