A diehard UDA supporter who had unbanked her all resources and banked them into hopes of landing a MCA nomination slot in Narok County was left shading premium tears after her name was expunged from the final list despite making it to the final round.
The lady, who identifies herself as Ann Muthoni, narrates how during the campaign period she met President William Ruto in Karen and in Narok several times and he. alongside other leaders from Narok Town, assured her of the seat countless times.
Muthoni says she had made her home the epicenter of UDA meetings during the campaign period and being left out in the cold has left her heart heaving with pain.
”I was in the first list of nominations, and made it to the second list as well. But when the third and final list was published in the Kenya Gazette, my name was missing,” she narrates.
”My nomination was the only one we as Kikuyu’s from Narok Town were waiting for but I was left disappointed despite being the most steadfast supporter of the party here.
”I was ready to go celebrate with the President during his inauguration but I was left out. I request anyone who is close to the President to link us up so that I ask him about whatever happened with the promise he made to me.”
