Record Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia have announced the return of their sponsorship with gaming firm Sportpesa who have pumped millions into the club for the next three years.
Kogalo, who just a few days ago announced they had terminated their contract with BetAfrique, have signed a three-year contract with Sportpesa worth Ksh. 240 million – Ksh. 80m per season.
Dubbed “Merging of the Giants!” Gor Mahia said in a statement: “We are delighted to announce that SportPesa and @OfficialGMFC have today entered partnership. Welcome back boys, to more wins & greater heights.”
“We welcome back home our former partner Gor Mahia. In our previous years of engagement, we achieved a lot of firsts, shattering the ceiling on what is achievable in our local football scene,” said SportPesa CEO and Kasarani MP Captain Ronald Karauri.
Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier said: “It’s a good feeling to have a partner like SportPesa. We are indeed pleased to have them back and we are looking for a fruitful partnership all through the contract period.”
