Kenya’s Timothy Ouma lands four year deal with Sweden’s top tier side IF Elfsborg.

Harambee Stars midfielder Timothy Noor Ouma has joined Sweden’s Allsvenskan side IF Elfsborg on a four year contract from FKF Premier League club Nairobi City Stars FC.

Ouma, 18, becomes the second Kenyan to sign for Elfsborg, the first one being defender Joseph Stanley Okumu who’s currently attached in Belgium with KAA Gent.

He has joined the team after spending two seasons with Nairobi City Stars FC. While at “Simba Wa Nairobi”, Ouma managed to bag 7 goals in 56 appearances.

The 18 year old player has joined a bunch of Kenyan players who are currently trading their skills with several clubs in Sweden. Among them being AIK trio of Eric Marcelo Ouma, Collins Sichenje and Henry Meja.

He made his debut for the Kenya national men’s senior team in October 2021 during a world cup qualifiers match against Uganda.
