Residents of Wanjohi in Kipipiri, Nyandarua are furious after learning that the man who sells them tasty meat delicacy has been butchering dogs.
When you think of a Samosa, or when you’re going to buy one, you usually have two choices: vegetarian or meat.
Kenyans are known for putting madoido in almost everything, even Samosas. Samosas have suddenly become the go-to dish for street food hawkers looking to try new things.
Human Turns Inhuman
And, while we’re on the subject of Samosa profanities, some humans have converted the Samosa into a strange food. There’s no limit to what one can put in there. I was getting my make-up done in town the other day when this guy came over to sell Samosas.
You should’ve witnessed my amazement when I saw that the Samosa had a cooked egg and beef. What the hell is going on here? How did the egg end up there in the first place? How did he roll the Samosa on top of the egg before cooking it, for example? I had so many questions for you guys.
Delicious Street Meal Turns Unfit
Ndirangu Wahome, the guy, had mastered the skill of samosa manufacturing and roasting to the point where his Wanjohi Market clients would phone him grumbling about his lateness, while others would flock to his house for the snacks.
“We never knew it was dog meat since the samosa had a particularly seductive flavour with an equally captivating colour.” He also sold beef that had been fried, boiled, or roasted. When I realized what I’d been eating, I felt sick to my stomach.
Never Trust Everyone
“It’s awful.” I’m curious as to where he learned to bake and roast. “He’s someone I’ve known since boyhood, and I couldn’t believe he was up to anything so nefarious,” remarked vendor Jack Karanja.
The neighbours believed the man purchased the meat from nearby butcher shops and slaughterhouses.
When the guy was detained by police on Sunday and murdered dog bones were discovered in his home, they were startled.
Investigation and Arrest
Police are examining how long the guy has been in the operation, according to Kipipiri Deputy Sub-County Police Commander Rashid Juma.
“We’ve apprehended the individual, but I have a feeling he’s not normal; a normal human wouldn’t be involved in such a business.” “We want to know how long he’s been in trade, where he obtains the dogs, and what his motivation is,” the police chief added.
Evidence
Even during arrest, police found a sliced dog head, the equipment he used to chill and roast the meat, bloodstained knives, panga and sufuria, and a wire they suspect he used to catch the dogs.
“We also found roughly ten grams of bhang in the complex, as well as a dog that we assume, was destined for slaughter.” “He will appear in court as soon as our investigations are completed,” stated the police chief.
And just when I thought things couldn’t get much worse, I mean, these Samosa horrors couldn’t possibly get any worse, I find out they do way worse.
