Former Highway Secondary School principal Mr. Patrick Maritim has told the court that Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi never sat for KCSE at the institution as he alleges in his academic credentials.
Speaking to a Nairobi based court, Maritim has revealed to the court that during his tenure as the head of Highway Secondary School in 2006, Hon. Sudi was not a student neither did he sit for the 2006 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) national exams at the institution which he was heading at the time. “According to the records, Oscar Kipchumba Sudi did not sit for the exams and his name can’t be traced anywhere”, added Patrick Maritim.
The vocal legislator was absent during the court proceedings but his lawyer George Wajackoyah says his client couldn’t attend the hearing as he is in Turkey receiving treatment. When asked to produce Sudi’s travel and hospitalization details, the lawyer hesitated.
Oscar Sudi is alleged of forging academic credentials with reports saying that the DP Ruto ally dropped out of school in Standard 7.
