Deputy president and UDA party leader Dr William Samoei Ruto has pledged to settle the issue of title deeds affecting land owners and squatters in Kenya when elected at the next president come in August 9 th.
Speaking during a church congregation at Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) Langas estate in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu county on Sunday, Ruto has assured the residents of Langas that under his Kenya Kwanza government, he’ll advocate and settle the menace that is affecting some of the residents of Langas.
He also urged Kenyans to maintain peace as they head towards election and not to worry of any bad incident to happen in the area as it happened after the 2007 elections that resulted to the Post Electionction Violence (PEV).
Ruto was in attendance of Kenya Kwanza leaders among them being Uasin Gishu county governor Jackson Mandago and MPs Gladys Shollei (Uasin Gishu county), Oscar Sudi (Kapseret), Caleb Kositany (Soy), Moses Kuria (Gatundu South), Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), Didmus Barasa (Kimilili) among other leaders.
