Turkana Boy Beats All Odds To Admission At Kapsabet Boys.

Fred Ekiru Amurio a former pupil at Lokwii Primary School in Turkana East today added another step among those he is taking as he aspires to become a neurosurgeon as he reported and was admitted at the prestigious National School in Nandi today.

Fred had scored 403 marks in the just ended Kenya Certificate of Primary School Education and was called upon to join Kapsabet Boys High School.

The parents of the 16 year old young man had louded that their most wanting challenge would be paying the school fees. After the results we out, they were happy that their boy had performed well but then cried out for help in raising fees since they had lost their cattles and eldest son to cattle rustlers early this year at Lokwii village in Turkana East.

But today the boy was looking sharp and focused in his new school uniform as he joined the other form one students from various areas in admission.
