The KCPE results are now a week old and the celebrations for schools and pupils who posted outstanding results are slowly fading. They remain the 2021 Academic Heroes nonetheless.

At the same time, an unverified claim has emerged online alleging that some schools are celebrating fake KCPE results in order to gain financially.

Robert Alai, a reputable blogger and now a member of County Assembly (MCA) aspirant, shared a shocking revelation from a concerned follower.

Lakewood Premier in Utawala, Nairobi, is being accused of declaring outrageous result for financial gains.

The school allegedly announced that the top pupil from the school scooped four hundred and twenty three (423) marks out of the possible five hundred (500).

Further, the post shared on Robert’s timeline indicates that the school had announced that it had garnered a mean grade of a whooping three hundred and eighty nine marks (389) which, if true, is commendable. The school is further accused of falsifying the number of students who had more than four hundred marks.

“Kumbe they were doing all these to influence parents to take their children to the school.” The post’s valedictory remarks reads in part.

Kenyans, not sure if the allegations are true, have ganged up in the comments section demanding proof to the claims. Others who believed, however, have taken to the comments section to express their anger on the school’s alleged misconduct.
