Shock as Pastor is Nabbed with 54 Rolls Marijuana

At the Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), a Nigerian preacher was apprehended with 54 marijuana rolls.

On his way to Nairobi for a three-week crusade, Rev. Ugochukwu Emmanuel Ekwem was apprehended with 54 marijuana rolls wrapped around his body at the Lagos airport.

On Monday, March 7th, Ekwem was apprehended while clearing passengers on an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Addis Ababa to Nairobi Jommo Kenyatta Airport (JKIA).

Rev. Ugochukwu Emmanuel Ekwem is the General overseer of the Christ Living Hope Church, according to reports from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Rev. Emmanuel Ekwem’s church is based at Isuaniocha, Mgbakwu Road, Awka, Anambra State, with two more branches in Lagos and Abuja.

The Reverend confessed to packing the substance for usage during his three-week crusade in Kenya, according to National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) spokeswoman Femi Babafemi.
